This role involves composing original musical scores that elevate cinematic narratives and evoke powerful emotions. You will collaborate closely with directors and producers to translate creative visions into compelling musical themes and orchestrations. The ideal candidate possesses a profound understanding of music theory, orchestration, and various musical genres, with a proven portfolio of successful film scores. Key Responsibilities: Compose original musical scores for feature films, documentaries, short films, and other visual media. Collaborate with directors and creative teams to understand the narrative, tone, and emotional arc of projects. Develop musical themes, motifs, and full orchestrations that complement the on-screen action. Record and produce high-quality musical scores utilizing professional studio equipment and software. Implement revisions based on feedback from the creative team in a timely manner. Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time completion. Stay abreast of current trends and innovations in film music composition and production. Maintain a professional and collaborative working relationship with all project stakeholders. Explore and integrate diverse musical styles and instrumentation to enhance storytelling. Manage and organize all musical assets and documentation related to projects. Qualifications: Extensive portfolio showcasing original film scores across various genres. Mastery of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration. Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Pro Tools, or similar. Experience with virtual instrument libraries and sound design. Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling and the role of music in film. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to adapt musical style to suit different directorial visions. Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition, Film Scoring, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
