Our client, an innovative digital media and entertainment company, is seeking a highly creative and experienced Remote Senior Music Producer to lead cutting-edge audio production projects. This is a fully remote contractor position, offering flexibility and the chance to work on diverse musical endeavors. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of music production, from concept development and artist collaboration to final mixing and mastering. Your role will involve guiding artists, engineers, and other creative professionals to achieve exceptional sonic results that align with project goals and artistic visions. This position requires a sophisticated understanding of music theory, audio engineering principles, and modern production techniques.

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage music production projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with artists to develop creative concepts and musical direction. Guide and mentor session musicians and sound engineers throughout the recording process. Ensure high-quality audio capture and technical execution in all recording sessions. Provide expert feedback on arrangements, performances, and sonic quality. Mix and master tracks to industry standards, ensuring optimal playback across various platforms. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for production tasks. Stay current with emerging trends in music production, technology, and audio engineering. Maintain a diverse network of musicians, engineers, and industry professionals. Ensure effective remote collaboration and communication with all project stakeholders. Deliver exceptional creative and technical outcomes for a variety of music genres and media applications.
The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production, Audio Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a music producer, engineer, or in a similar creative audio role. A strong portfolio showcasing diverse production work across multiple genres is essential. Proficiency with major Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, or Cubase is required. Excellent understanding of mixing consoles, outboard gear, and plugin technologies is critical. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective artist and team collaboration in a remote setting. The ability to provide constructive creative feedback and lead production sessions remotely is paramount. Experience in soundtrack composition for film, television, or video games is a significant advantage.
