Our client, a dynamic force in the arts and entertainment industry, is searching for a highly creative and experienced Lead Music Producer to join their innovative team in Salt Lake City, Utah, US . This role is central to the development and execution of cutting-edge musical projects, encompassing everything from conceptualization to final mastering. The Lead Music Producer will guide artists and production teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, commercially viable, and artistically compelling musical content.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire production process for various musical endeavors, including albums, singles, and soundtracks. You will collaborate closely with artists to understand their creative vision and translate it into tangible musical outcomes. This involves managing recording sessions, selecting appropriate musicians and engineers, and providing direction on performance, arrangement, and sound. The Lead Music Producer will also be responsible for sound design, mixing, and mastering, ensuring a polished and professional final product. Budget management for production costs, scheduling recording sessions, and coordinating with marketing and distribution teams will also fall under your purview. You will scout for new talent, mentor emerging artists, and stay ahead of current musical trends and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in music production, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse genres and successful projects, is required. Extensive knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live, along with a deep understanding of audio engineering principles, mixing techniques, and mastering processes, is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for guiding creative teams and artists. The ability to foster a collaborative and inspiring work environment is paramount.
