Our client, a prominent entity in the vibrant music scene of Nashville, Tennessee, US , is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead Music Producer to join their dynamic team. This role is instrumental in shaping the sound and direction of artistic projects, from initial concept to final master.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of music production, including artist development, session management, recording, mixing, and mastering. You will collaborate closely with artists, songwriters, engineers, and A&R departments to ensure the highest quality output and creative integrity. This involves guiding creative decisions, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a productive and inspiring studio environment.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing recording sessions, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Providing artistic direction and technical expertise throughout the production process. Working with artists to refine their performances and creative vision. Overseeing the mixing and mastering of all tracks to ensure commercial viability and artistic excellence. Staying abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging artists. Maintaining strong relationships with external studios, engineers, and other vendors. Troubleshooting any technical or creative challenges that arise during production. Contributing to the scouting and development of new talent. Ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. Mentoring junior producers and engineers.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of music theory, composition, and arrangement, coupled with extensive experience in various music production software and hardware. A proven track record of producing successful and critically acclaimed projects is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are paramount for effective collaboration and team management. The ideal candidate will have a keen ear for detail, a passion for music innovation, and the ability to adapt to diverse musical genres. A bachelor’s degree in Music Production, Audio Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent industry experience will be strongly considered. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from our state-of-the-art facilities in Nashville, Tennessee, US .
