Job Description
Resurrection has an opening for an Audio Engineer in the Resurrection Experience division. The position is part-time, non-exempt and located at the Leawood Campus in Leawood, KS. The Audio Engineer will provide quality audio support, front-of-house mixing for events including worship, ministry programs, and special event production. They will bring expertise in live and recorded audio production and provide engineering support for various church-related events.

Position-Specific:
• Mix sound for events requiring pro-level audio support, including weekend worship services, weekly rehearsals, special events, and mid-week events.
• Fulfill audio needs in front-of-house, back-of-house and broadcast roles for ministry events, including weekly worship.
• Communicate with audio team members to ensure organized and effective audio support.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of all audio equipment deployed across the campus.
• Assist in the development, training, and mentoring of Tech Producers, volunteer teams, and team leaders for audio aspects of production.
• Directly manage the setup and teardown of the stage including various audio equipment.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and empower audio volunteers for weekly and weekend events.
• Attend required staff meetings, program/planning meetings, and technical rehearsals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• 3 years of professional experience mixing front-of-house for 1,000+ capacity venues.
• Ability to mix effectively for modern bands and traditionally styled orchestras and choirs.
• Preferred experience with Dante networking, Waves plug-ins, Aviom and Klang monitoring systems, and RF coordination.
• Experience in multiple multi-tracking recording applications.
• Ability to assist with moderate to high levels of physical activities such as lifting/moving large equipment in excess of 30 pounds, and comfortable working on catwalks at heights of 70 ft.
