As a Music Teacher at The Guitar Center Company’s Store 2207, you’ll teach a diverse range of students, from young beginners to advanced players, across various instruments. You will foster a love for music through engaging lessons, focusing on individual student growth. This role involves direct teaching and relationship building with students and their families. The Guitar Center Company’s Music & Arts division has been supporting musicians since 1952. Starting as a small shop in Bethesda, MD, it has grown to over 225 retail stores, 200 educational representatives, and 250 affiliate locations nationwide. Their mission is to create lifelong musicians and share the happiness that comes from making music. Your day will involve one-on-one and group instruction, helping students master instruments like piano, guitar, violin, and voice. You’ll use your musical expertise to guide lesson plans and track student progress. You will also collaborate with the store team to manage schedules and ensure student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative tasks, so you can focus entirely on teaching. This position is located at Store 2207.
