About The Job
We invite emerging conductors to apply for the position of Assistant Conductor. The successful applicant will work with the Music Director & CEO, observing rehearsals, acting as a potential cover conductor, and conducting the orchestra’s Educational and Outreach activities whenever needed.
A Master’s degree in orchestral conducting or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years equivalent experience required.
Must have a broad knowledge of orchestral repertoire, conducting techniques, orchestration and instrumentation, and a desire to conduct a variety of concerts including classical, pops, family and educational programs.
Music Production knowledge required.
