Job Summary
• The Organist and Choir Accompanist supports worship through piano and organ music, hymn performance, and accompaniment for the Chancel Choir.
• The role may be structured as a contract position, depending on the applicant pool. The position may be filled by one person or by individuals comfortable rotating every two weeks.

Duties
• Play piano and organ music for Sunday mornings and designated services.
• Provide music for prelude/postlude/offertory that is appropriate for the theme of the service.
• Accompany the Chancel Choir on Wednesdays and on assigned Sundays or services.
• Perform hymns and other religious music in coordination with worship and choir needs
Skills
• Ability to play piano and read sheet music.
• Experience performing religious music, including hymns.
• Comfort accompanying a choir and collaborating in a rotating schedule, if applicable.
Pay: Up to $18,200.00 per year
