The Lucky Bastard Saloon & Whiskey River Saloon are currently sourcing additional Audio/Sound Technicians available for work in our live entertainment venues on Broadway. Excellent pay based on experience! Great atmosphere!

The audio/sound Technician provides production support for all musical acts at Lucky Bastard Saloon and Whiskey River Saloon through assigned events. You will be responsible for soundcheck and running a show for the bands placed under your purview for the duration of an event. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a standard of stage cleanliness, equipment care, and to be prepared to troubleshoot various production and technical issues related to the events.

Events are generally divided into Day and Night. Typically, day events occur between 9 am – 5:30 pm and night events occur between 5:30pm – 2:45 am. Work opportunities are available at both venues.

CURRENTLY HIRING FOR REGULAR EVENING/NIGHT EVENTS and SUBSTITUTE EVENTS.
Responsibilities
• Setup stage(s) for full band soundcheck ringing out wedges, RF scans for IEM mixes, and setting FOH levels.
• Soundcheck both FOH and monitors in a timely fashion.
• Maintain an operational understanding of current audio technologies.
• Work with supervising Audio Lead and Managers on day-to-day operations.
• Ensure that all equipment is used safely, in accordance with proper industry standards.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for bands, managers, employees, customers, etc.
• Perform other associated duties as needed.
• Audio/Sound technicians are to remain on premises for the duration of the event. Typically events consist of 2 band sets of 4 hours each.
• You will be expected to soundcheck each act, work with the bands to enable the greatest performance possible.
• Operate a show including active mixing and lighting operations to varying degrees.
• Utilization of stage wedges and in-ear monitoring solutions. Be prepared to utilize both.
• Collaborate professionally with management and other departments to provide a positive, enriching event environment.
Qualifications Include
• 1-3 years of experience working as an audio engineer for a national touring act, production company, or venue in Live Sound Industry.
• Basic troubleshooting capabilities.
• Basic understanding of Wireless Systems; experience troubleshooting RF/Wireless systems (Sennheiser) preferred.
• Basic knowledge/understanding of acoustics, live sound, equipment, routing, patching, I/O management.
• Working knowledge of basic lighting is preferred; experience with Onyx lighting program a plus.
• Experience on all consumer grade/entry tour level consoles – Plus (x32/M32, Yamaha TF series, Yamaha QL5, CL5, Allen and Health QU Series, Allen and Health SQ series, etc.). Currently use Yamaha TF series, however events sometimes utilize other consoles; company upgrades consoles periodically.
• Touring and/or Nashville Broadway work experience a plus.
• Ability to learn/be trained in unfamiliar concepts.
• Must be able to work in a loud, lively atmosphere with large crowds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must have adequate vision and hearing to ensure excellent quality of sound and lighting.
• Must be available during varying times normally associated with live entertainment venues.
