Role Description The In-House Music Producer & Audio Engineer is a part-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for producing, recording, and mixing music projects for recording artists, podcast episodes, and youth academy sessions.

Day-to-day tasks include managing studio sessions, operating recording and mixing equipment, editing and enhancing audio tracks, and collaborating closely with artists to develop their sound. The role also involves organizing session files, maintaining high audio standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing creative input to arrangements and overall production quality.

Qualifications

• Strong music production skills, including arranging, composing, and developing artist sounds.

• Hands-on experience with audio engineering, including recording, mixing, and mastering in a studio environment.

• Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) and audio plug-ins.

• Knowledge of studio equipment such as microphones, preamps, consoles, monitors, and signal routing.

• Ability to edit dialogue and music for podcasts and multimedia content with clean, broadcast-quality results.

• Solid understanding of music genres relevant to the studio’s work, with openness to diverse styles and cultures.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with artists, youth talent, and production teams.

• Organized session management, file backup practices, and attention to detail in naming and documentation.

• Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL and manage a part-time schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.

• Previous studio or production house experience; mentorship or teaching experience with youth is a plus.

• Formal training in audio engineering, music production, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
