Stony Brook University invites applications for a full-time Open Rank Professorship in Composition, to begin August 30, 2027. The successful candidate will teach composition lessons and seminars, and courses in analysis and music theory at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Applicants must hold a DMA or PhD in Composition or demonstrate equivalent professional experience, with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and mentoring.
