Online Voice-Acting Teacher – Animation & Character Voices (Remote)
Remote | Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099)
We’re looking for a warm, skilled voice acting teacher to join our remote teaching team.
This role is specifically for teachers who coach character and performance-based voice acting — such as animation, video games, cartoons, character voices, narration, and scripted voice-over performance. This is different from traditional singing lessons or general acting lessons.
You’ll work primarily with school-age students (7+) and adults at beginner–intermediate levels. We’re looking for a teacher who can make lessons encouraging, structured, and fun while helping students build confidence, creativity, and expressive vocal performance skills.
You Will
• Teach private online voice acting lessons through Zoom or a similar platform.
• Coach students in character voices, animation-style reads, video game dialogue, narration, and scripted performance.
• Help students build vocal variety, pacing, articulation, emotional expression, and microphone confidence.
• Provide clear weekly practice assignments and communicate professionally with students, parents, and our studio team.
What We Provide
• A professional teacher website personalized to your brand and online presence.
• Support with branding, website content, and marketing to help bring you new students.
• Leads from our lead networks, partner programs, online directories, and referrals.
• Scheduling, communication, and payment systems so you can focus on teaching.
What You Bring
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Voice Acting, Acting, Theatre, Performance, Communications, Voice, Music, or a related field. Must be from a U.S.-based university or college.
• Experience teaching or coaching voice acting, voice-over, character work, animation reads, video game reads, or narration.
• Comfort working with kids, teens, and adult beginners.
• Strong communication skills and a kind, encouraging teaching style.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a basic online teaching setup, including a computer, webcam, headphones, and microphone.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
