Music Love Academy is a vibrant and welcoming music school located in Fairfax, VA, offering high-quality music education for students of all ages — from infants to adults. Our programs include early childhood music education (Montessori-inspired classes for ages 0–5), group classes, and private lessons.

Our mission is simple: to teach with love, excellence, and creativity, creating a nurturing space where music, joy, and community come together. We are opening a brand-new location in a few weeks and are expanding our team with passionate instructors who are excited to grow with us. The school is fully equipped with new pianos and brand-new facilities.
Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Piano Instructor at Music Love Academy in Fairfax, VA. The instructor will provide engaging, high-quality piano instruction to students of various ages and levels, from beginners to advanced students.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching private piano lessons and/or group piano classes

• Developing individualized, student-centered lesson plans

• Guiding students in piano technique, musicianship, sight-reading, and musical expression

• Preparing students for recitals, performances, festivals, and ensemble opportunities

• Supporting early childhood piano instruction (for candidates working with younger students)

• Providing clear and consistent communication and feedback to students and parents

• Maintaining a positive, organized, and inspiring studio environment

• Participating in school events, recitals, and professional development activities
Qualifications

• Strong piano performance and teaching skills

• Experience teaching piano to children and/or adults

• Ability to teach beginner through advanced levels

• Experience with group instruction or early childhood music education is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and developmental stages

• Solid knowledge of music theory and piano pedagogy

• Degree in Music, Piano Performance, Music Education, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

• Professionalism, reliability, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching
